Pho, Bun Nem Chay |
By Chi has moved from Naschmarkt to the 2nd district, the new place will be up and running by the end of October 2012.
What he says
Any Stadt that doesn't have legit Vietnamese food should be deeply ashamed of itself and if you've never had Vietnamese eats you too should be ashamed. Luckily my fellow Wieners, a shot at redemption in the form of a small cranny in the Naschmarkt awaits you. It goes by the name of "by Chi" and it's a little piece of heaven amid the mire of sub-par restaurants that make up the Market of Nasch. If you've ever been to Vietnam, the second you taste this food you will know you are where you need to be. The Pho bo and Bun Nem are reason enough to join the Chi-club. All the typical flavours: coriander, thai basil, lemon grass, lime, birds-eye chilli, nuoac-mam etc... are well balanced and aimed to delight. So I advise, stick your head over a big bowl of Pho, inhale deep and slurp your way from Viennese to Vietnamese.
